The brand I chose to re-design is Poundland. I chose this because poundshops in general are not the most attractive of places. They are generally shouty and a mess inside. I wanted to re-design it so that people wouldn’t be ashamed to be seen shopping there and to attract new customers through doing this.
I created a brochure that would be given away to all customers. It would be a quarterly publication that lists all in store products and some tips of what to do/create with them at that time of the year.
Each section has been assigned it’s own image to go along with it’s theme.
The digital design is basically a real time version of the brochure. Using the sections users can pick directly what they want and not be bothered by things they are not interested in.
The sections contain handy tips about life, recipes and general fun things to do. The idea behind it is that everything featured can be created from products they sell. So it promotes the store but in a helpful way. The ‘£’ badge shows what products are available in store.
